Your middle school science program is engaging, curriculum-based and really amazing, but the NGSS MOVEMENT continues to gain momentum. Changes in delivery and instruction MUST HAPPEN to keep current. Where are the time and resources to HELP?

Review the latest research on the ways young people experience science as well as practical examples and activities that support 5E learning. Then, experience the most awarded online NGSS-aligned science resource on the market today. Play, explore and celebrate! Translate learning into teaching practices that make sense for today’s science classrooms. You can do this!

This workshop will involve a review of research and practical teaching practices that support the 5E framework. Special attention will focus on Life, Earth, and Physical sciences in relation to the Constructivist Model for inquiry-based learning. Participants will encounter a brief overview of Science Bits (online resource) followed by ample time to explore and interact with this truly innovative NGSS-aligned solution. Laptop/Chromebook Required
