Welcome to the WSST 2017 Conference, Going for Gold! This year’s theme is a play off the name of the resort as well as our goal to help you become the best science educator possible. We want you to go for gold!
Presenter will show examples of outdoor projects that integrate Common Core language arts and math standards with NGSS and Agriculture standards to achieve the ultimate goal of student engagement. The presenter will then give the teachers in attendance standards out of a hat and they will have to brainstorm their own project that would have tangible pieces to assess in each content area. The presenter will also show how Google Classroom can make project based learning in multiple content areas a breeze!
